goal of PaaSport !!

The goal of PaaSport is to create a marketplace where on the one hand, different PaaS providers can advertise their cloud offerings and on the other hand developers can benefit from a PaaS abstraction layer in order to avoid the vendor lock-in problem. As PaaSport is an ongoing project and the development is still active, a first release of the PaaSport Marketplace has been created in order to encapsulate the progress achieved in all levels of the project. PaaSport Marketplace focuses on resolving the data and application portability issues that exist in the Cloud PaaS market through a flexible and efficient deployment and migration approach. PaaSport Marketplace is accessible through the usage of a responsive web interface that allows both PaaS providers and application developers to use it without further installations.
