The hotel concept would float and function independently on the surface of a body of water, providing a green, self-sustaining environment for guests who presumably, would never have to leave.

Ark Hotel China project was designed by Russian firm Remistudio with the assistance of the International Union of Architects’ program Architecture for Disasters Relief.
