Kapil Sharma is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor, TV host, producer and singer. He hosted a very popular comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil for almost 3 years from June 2013 to January 2016. He first appeared in the Forbes India Celebrity list in 2013, ranking 93rd on the list. He moved up to 33rd in 2014. He has also been awarded the CNN-IBN Indian of the Year 2013, in the Entertainment category. He is ranked at no. 3 in the Most Admired Indian Personality List by The Economic Times in 2015. Sharma has been nominated for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by PM Narendra Modi, which he has accepted. A year after in September 2015 he was invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan by the President Pranab Mukherjee to acknowledge his contribution towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. He made his Bollywood debut with Abbas Mustan's romantic-comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which released on 25 Sept 2015.
