Beating India in their own lawn is a definitive test and the young men are up for the knockout fight against the hosts in the ICC World Twenty20 here tomorrow, said Australian all-rounder Shane Watson.

Australia thumped Pakistan out of the competition yesterday, setting up a virtual quarterfinal against India at the I S Bindra Stadium. Watson said it is great that his group doesn’t need to stress over the run rate any longer as it is a victor takes all undertaking.

“See, I have played in recreations where a great deal was dependant on run rate and now and then we passed up a major opportunity on account of it. So it is great that it has boiled down to winning the match with a basic mathematical statement. We know we must be taking care of business to beat India. They are a mind blowing group. Particularly in Indian conditions, it will be an enormous test for us,” said Watson, who will resign from global cricket toward the end of the competition.

“For my own point of view, realizing that it could be my last universal match, it is unquestionably a colossal amusement. The good thing is that we played well against Pakistan here.”

Recognizing that the home group has not played to its potential as such, Watson said playing India is dependably an immense test.

“Well it would have been pleasant if Bangladesh held their nerve a smidgen better (against India). That way we would not need to stress such a great amount over the diversion tomorrow. See, it is a definitive test in any configuration, to play India in India. On the off chance that you can beat them on Indian soil, it is an extraordinary accomplishment. Every one of the players realize that and I absolutely know without a doubt, having a lot of encounters of playing in India.”

On India’s execution in the competition in this way, Watson said: “It is correct that they have not clicked so far but rather the conditions have been great. Any group would battle in that situation. The ball is turning colossal sum, as much I have seen an in a T20 amusement, whether it was in Nagpur or Eden Gardens. In Mohali, it doesn’t turn that much yet they have capable batsmen and bowlers. Unexpectedly their group can click and when that happens they are very nearly a great group.”
